Renée Fleischer Owner/Artistic Director of Elevationclasses: Zumba! Jazz Cardio Dance


Renée Fleischer has been training in dance since the age of 3! She was a dance major at Arizona State University, and received a scholarship at the Academy of Performing Arts in San Diego, California after college. Renee began a professional dance career as a San Diego Charger girl from 1996-1998 before moving to Vail, CO in 1999 where she was a Denver Broncos Cheerleader until 2001 and traveled to Sydney, Australia to perform in the American Bowl with international recording artist Chris Isaak. As a United Spirit Association Advanced Jazz Dance Instructor, choreography credits include the Vail Valley Academy of Dance Company, The Dollhouse Revue, Dream Project & The Steamboat Dance Theater.

 

Tiana Buschmann classes: Hip Hop


Tiana Buschmann has lived and danced in the Yampa Valley since 1996. She has trained with Motion Underground, The EDGE, and Millenium Dance Complex will continue training at the PULSE and Monsters of Hip Hop dance conventions. Tiana has toured Colorado and California performing theatrical hip hop with Motion Elite Company. Her passion is hip hop dance, but she also has a background in jazz and contemporary. Tiana is committed to bringing cutting edge choreography and stylized movement to her students. As a board member of the Steamboat Dance Theatre, she is committed to providing quality instruction and performance in Steamboat, in an effort to create more awareness of the dance culture and local dance community.

 

Chistie Ginanni classes: Jazz Tap Contemporary/Lyrical


Christie Ginanni began her dance training at Dance Connection in Palo Alto, California where she began to train at age 3 in tap, jazz, ballet, and lyrical. She received a BA in Studio Art from Colorado College in Colorado Springs in 2005 where she also spent 4 years playing Division 1 women’s soccer. Since moving to Steamboat in 2006, Christie has danced and choreographed for the Steamboat Dance Theatre and taught jazz, tap, and contemporary classes. She is thrilled to be dancing still, and excited to share her love of dance with our community at Elevation!

 

Alyssa Marelli classes: 1st Steps Creative Movement Tap


Alyssa Marelli started dancing at age 2 in Richmond, RI at the Chariho Dance Studio.  She studied all forms of dance, but found a true love in ballet.  At 12, she was a member of The Jasper Ballet Company in Cumberland, RI, a non-profit company aimed at raising awareness in the fight against AIDS.  She was also a member of The Festival Ballet in Providence, RI, dancing in performances such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and The Nutcracker.  At age 14 she started dancing at Carolyn Dutra Dance Studio in Warwick, RI, where she performed at Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Disney World.  In 1999, she was a corps dancer for the Nutcracker on Broadway in New York City.  After college, she began teaching at The Studio in Narragansett, RI as a youth and adult instructor in ballet, tap, and jazz.  She has continued to dance and perform with the Steamboat Dance Theatre for the past 3 years and is excited to be back teaching what she loves!

 

 

Traci Cameronclasses: 1st Steps Creative Movement Zumba!


Traci started dancing at the age of 3, and has always found dance to be her greatest passion. Traci continued dancing in her song and cheer squads in high school where she was a lead choreographer for both the competitive team and for auditions for the squad. When Traci moved to Steamboat in 2003, she discovered Steamboat Dance Theatre and now serves as President of Steamboat Dance Theatre. Traci has performed in several Annual Concerts and with Jasmir Belly Dance Troupe.

 

Solange Guenierclasses: Old School Hip Hop Ballet Horton Technique (Modern)


As a backup singer and dancer for Tina Turner since 1999, Solange has been on numerous world tours, performed at the Super Bowl in 2000, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Ally McBeal. Solange has performed with Cher and Destiny’s Child and was a backup dancer for Beyonce at the Grammy Awards. Solange attended the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York where she obtained an Independent Study Program certificate in 1997 and went on to win two gold medals and one bronze in Ballet in Swiss nationals as well as one gold medal in Jazz. As a Jazz and Ballet Instructor for the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique in Geneva, Switzerland, Solange now brings her expertise to Steamboat Springs!

 

Stephanie Kohlhardtclasses: Hippity Hop Hip Hop


Stephanie Kohlhardt started her passion for dance at the early age of 3 while taking ballet, jazz, and tap in Loveland, CO. She began competing in contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, jazz, and ballet at conventions such as LA Dance Magic and New York City Dance Alliance. She began teaching at Broadway Bound Dance Academy at the age of 16 and coached and choreographed the BBDA Senior Competition team from 2008-2010. In college she performed countless shows with the Colorado State University Dance Department and continued studying ballet, jazz, and modern under CSU professors of dance Melissa Corr, Carol Roderick, and Chung-Fu Chang. Stephanie was also a part of the CSU Golden Poms where she performed at the CSU football and basketball games and competed at the United Dance Association (UDA) Nationals for 2007. Stephanie loves to share her passion for dance with everyone around her and is excited to bring new styles and ideas to Elevation Dance Studio.

 

Jamie Boericlasses: BarreFit


Jamie Boeri hails from Southern California where she was the principal barre instructor at Core et’ Barre in Newport Beach. Jamie was a dancer for Disney, received a degree in Liberal Arts and Kinesiology from Cal Poly Pomona, and is certified in Pilates from the Body Arts and Science Institute, (BASI.)

 

 

 

Carole Krohnclasses: Ballet


Carole Krohn’s love of classical ballet began at age 3 under the study of Rose Dentino in Pekin, Illinois. She soon discovered that she could apply the technical discipline and artistry of ballet to a variety of activities and other styles of dance when she began competing in gymnastics, figure skating and USCA Cheerleading. Carole continued to study dance and physiology in college, regularly performing at NCAA sporting events and concert venues when she was a member of the Purdue Golduster dance team. After graduating from law school at the University of Illinois she continued to study classical ballet in Chicago at the Hubbard Street Dance Company, The Ruth Page Center for the Arts and the schools of the Joffrey and Chicago Ballet. Since relocating to Steamboat Springs in 1993 Carole has continuously studied ballet under the guidance of Julie Sneden and the master classes of the School of Colorado Ballet, Denver Dance Center, Perry Mansfield and the Aspen/ Santa Fe Ballet and has enjoyed performing locally with Steamboat Dance Theatre.
